Sorry for the delay in posts. It's been a long, busy week. So here's the latest:

My grandfather's heart stent went well. He is doing fine. Caden and I stayed until last Sunday and came home in time to see the giant, wet, snowflakes falling! It was really a pretty sight! Thank you to those who called to check up on us. Thank you for your prayers.

My grandmother had a myelogram this past Monday and she is also doing well.

I had an interview with the home health department of the hospital this week. Still not sure what I am going to do. I think I would enjoy home health nursing, just not sure about the schedule and on-call requirements. I think I am going to just relax (or at least try to), give everything a few weeks and then look at my options (hopefully more clearly).

On to the good news... we were approved for a home loan this week. Mike received the certificate of approval yesterday. So... let's add another stressor to my life... buying a home. It's an exciting time, especially because we have wanted our own house for the past few years. Now it's about to come true. I've just spent the past hour or so looking online at houses. Mike and I haven't quite seen eye-to-eye on what we want ~vs~ what we need (and can afford).

I still can't quite believe that this is real. I keep waiting for the bottom to fall out and awake from a dream. Hopefully this process will go smoothly. I dread the added stress. It will be all worth it to have our very own house, though.

Update

My grandfather had his angiogram this morning. He did well and will stay the night in the hospital so the dye can be flushed out of his body with IV fluids. He will have a stent placed tomorrow morning. Caden and I are leaving early in the morning to be with my family during his procedure. Thanks in advance for the prayers.

Dude...

Cody has had 4 friends over this evening to watch the Super Bowl. I am ready for my house to be quiet once again. I think I have heard the word "dude" 100 times tonight. Boys.
